The Rembrandt Alumni & Friends Band presented a one-hour concert
before the annual Rembrandt All-
School Reunion on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Our Savior’s Lutheran
Church in Rembrandt. Rod
Shedenhelm is the director of the only known high school alumni band in
the state of Iowa. They were joined
by several area band directors and musicians.
This was the 15th year for the Alumni Band to perform their program of familiar pop tunes and traditional marches, starting with the 2001 Centennial. They also sang three songs, and a flute trio performed a fun piece.
